Oskars Stucis joins LatCham as an individual member. Oskars moved to the United States in 2005 to pursue MBA studies at University of Notre Dame, and currently works in brand management at OfficeMax, Inc. where he leads development of several private label brands.
Prior to coming to US, Oskars earned his B.Sc. in Economics and Business from Stockholm School of Economics in Riga, and worked at one of the world leading marketing communications agencies, consulting market leaders from various industries, locally and internationally, on public relations and advertising campaigns, brand strategy and development, and corporate reputation and media relations. Among the clients Oskars served were Hanzas Maiznīcas, GE Money, Unilever, Masterfoods, Reckitt Benckiser, Emporio Armani, and others.
A board member of the American Latvian Youth Association for several years, Oskars is very involved in the Latvian community. With international background and strong personal relationships in Latvian business, Oskars is a promoter of cross-border business relationships. A keen traveler, Oskars spends a lot of his free time away from his current home town Chicago exploring new destinations locally and internationally.
