Janis Meija has joined LatCham as an individual member. Janis A. Meija, J.D. is an attorney from Michigan currently practicing law in Riga, Latvia. Janis holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan, a J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law, and expects to complete his L.L.M. in European Union law from the Riga Graduate School of Law in 2009.

Janis primarily specializes in corporate law, and has gained experience working at a large international German law firm in Riga, Latvia, as well as working as an attorney in Michigan. Janis has opened his own practice in Riga, Latvia where he advises primarily foreign clients in matters relating to corporate law, M&A, real estate, taxation, immigration and employment law.
