The Earth Tire Foundation has joined LatCham as a non-profit member. The foundation is made up of many individuals, small businesses, and large corporations from around the world. They donate funds, ideas, talent and the friendships necessary to help build grass roots participation for intellectually creative and environmentally conscientious non-profit humanitarian aid.

The Foundation will be represented by Dr. Mars J. Lans. Mars is a first generation son of Immigrant Parents of Latvian and Swedish ancestry. A native of New York City, “born in Brooklyn, raised in Queens”, he has always been committed to making himself useful to those less fortunate.

In keeping with that philosophy, he and his wife Rita have started The Earth Tire Foundation, which they intend to nurture into a model of Non-Profit Organizations by incorporating environmental responsibility, creative intelligence and workspaces ergonomically designed for the physically handicapped to produce valuable advertising and marketing displays fabricated out of discarded tires.
