Ms. Irbe has 15 years of experience in the training and e-learning field. She is fluent in the technologies and techniques for in-class, eLearning, and blended learning solution development in large training initiatives and experienced in applying the full life cycle of the instructional systems design (ISD) process and principles of adult learning. In particular, she had in-depth expertise in application of Section 508 compliance and universal accessibility guidelines.

She has established and successfully managed of the first training department at EYT, Inc., served as Adjunct Faculty at George Washington University where she taught Master’s degree level online classes in George Washington University’s Educational Technology M.Ed. Program, and has developed the first web-based language training course in Latvian for the Foreign Service Institute’s (FSI) School of Language Studies (SLS). She currently works as an e-learning consultant in Washington DC, serving the private and Federal sectors.
