Christopher Lombardi joined Raytheon International in January 2009 as Regional Manager, where he oversees Raytheon's pursuits in a number of European countries. His responsibilities include the facilitation of the company's sales into Europe by developing pursuit strategies and working with both the international customer and relevant US government agencies.

Previously, Mr. Lombardi was working with ThalesRaytheonSytems (TRS) as Manager, International Business Development, where he part of the team responsible for leveraging the TRS-developed NATO Air Command and Control System (ACCS) to expand NATO capabilities into real-time ballistic missile defense for deployable components. Before taking on this role, Mr. Lombardi was managing TRS radar and command and control business in several Central European countries.

Before moving into the TRS joint venture, Mr. Lombardi came to Raytheon in November, 2002 as Manager of Government Relations. In this position he was responsible for representing Raytheon's international trade and corporate tax issues to legislative and executive branch officials.

Mr. Lombardi joined Raytheon from the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) where he was Manager of International Relations. He was responsible for developing industry-wide policy positions on international trade and export control issues. Lombardi also managed AIA's participation at major international air shows, serving as U.S. industry liaison between Defense Department and service personnel, member companies and foreign nationals.

Prior to joining AIA in 1999, Mr. Lombardi was an analyst with Lockheed Martin's International Business Development group in Washington, D.C. While there, he managed a $4 million international event budget for corporate marketing eorts and analyzed market and growth opportunities to prioritize corporate trade show spending.

Previously, Mr. Lombardi served as an Intelligence Analyst with the Oce of Naval Intelligence where he examined and reviewed air-related threats to U.S. Navy and Marine Corps operations worldwide. He also worked as an associate with the consulting rm C&O Resources and was a sta member on the United States Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Mr. Lombardi was born in 1970 in Denville, New Jersey. He received a bachelor's degree in international aairs and political science from the University of Colorado in 1993 and a master's degree in international relations from e Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), Johns Hopkins University in 1997. In addition, Mr. Lombardi took European studies courses at Oxford University in England. He is married and has two children.
