Gustav Plato is the Chairman of the Board and founder of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce in the Americas (LatCham). He has 25 years of experience in creating and growing services organizations. He is also the Founder and CEO of iiGrowth, an international growth strategy consultancy. Gustav is an author, entrepreneur, and evangelist for smart business growth by helping clients focus on their core business; maturing key business stragies, functions, and processes; and improving profitability.

He is a certified management consultant with 15 years of experience and service in international management consultancies including Coopers & Lybrand, LLP and IBM Global Services. He has also worked in numerous strategy boutiques. He is a published author Activity Based Management in Government, published in 1995, as well as numerous magazine articles.

His government clients have included Department of Commerce, Defense Commissary Agency, Department of Labor, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Internal Revenue Service, Province of Manitoba, Small Business Administration, Transportation Security Agency, US Navy, US Postal Service, US State Department and US Agency for International Development. In addition, he has worked with international firms such as IBM, Lockheed Martin, Nokia, and Pitney Bowes.

Gustav is also a board member of the American Latvian Association, where he serves as CFO/Treasurer, and the Joint Baltic American National Committee. iiGrowth is a member of LatCham as well as the American Chamber of Commerce in Latvia.
